My first travel experience (and when I caught the “travel bug”) was when I was a junior in high school. My aunt invited me on a trip to Puerto Rico with her and my two young cousins. This was the first time I was more than one state away from home. We took a side trip to St. Thomas where I bought my fist SLR camera, a Canon AE1. Who would have thought that one trip would have changed the way I viewed the world. As soon as I graduated, I set sail for the Bahamas, my first cruise, with a friend; camera in hand.

After traveling for a few years, I married and was blessed with four children. The travelling slowed down. As the children got older, going back to work was near. If I was going to spend my days away from home, I wanted to do something I was passionate about, travel! For over 20 years, I planned and managed meetings and incentives around the globe for major corporations. This immediately opened up new travel opportunities for me that I was able to share with the children.

People will ask me “What’s your favorite vacation?” That’s a tough question! Are they asking about my favorite adventure vacation? Relaxing vacation? Cultural vacation? Family or friend vacation? There are so many different ways to vacation and I can’t think of a vacation that I didn’t enjoy.

My travels have taken me to 39 U.S. states, 14 national parks, Eastern Caribbean, Western Caribbean, Dominican Republic and parts of Europe and Morocco. I’ve traveled by plane, train, automobile and ship. My mission is to share my passion for travel with you, to plan your next extraordinary adventure as if it were my own.
